Stratacel is a lightweight, film-forming wound dressing created to care for sensitive skin following fractional laser treatments and other minimally invasive procedures. The smooth silicone gel spreads easily over delicate or recently treated areas, then dries into a clear, flexible layer that helps protect the skin throughout the recovery process.

The semi-occlusive film helps limit moisture loss while allowing oxygen and water vapor to pass through, creating a supportive environment for newly treated skin. It also provides a protective barrier against external irritants and microbial exposure, helping reduce the discomfort that can accompany post-procedure recovery. Stratacel may help soothe sensations of burning, itching, tightness, redness, and general irritation while the skin’s surface renews.

Its low-viscosity texture makes it especially useful for curved, visible, and hard-to-dress areas, including the face, around the eyes, lips, nostrils, neck, and chest. The transparent finish allows the treatment area to remain visible and may be covered with sunscreen or cosmetics once fully dry.

Stratacel is suitable for all skin types, including sensitive skin. Its odorless formula contains no alcohol, parabens, steroids, or added fragrance.

How To Use

Clean the treatment area and gently pat away excess moisture or fluid. Apply a very thin layer of Stratacel directly over the affected skin. Do not rub or massage the gel into the area.

Allow approximately 5 to 6 minutes for the product to dry into a transparent film. If it remains wet longer, too much product may have been applied. Gently remove the excess with a clean tissue or gauze and allow the remaining layer to dry.

Apply once daily, twice daily on exposed areas, or as directed by your healthcare provider. Reapply after cleansing or whenever the protective layer is no longer present. Once completely dry, Stratacel may be covered with sunscreen, cosmetics, clothing, or a secondary dressing.
