Product Overview
Stratamed is an advanced, self-drying wound dressing designed for immediate use following surgical, dermatologic, and cosmetic procedures. The transparent gel forms a thin, flexible protective film that remains in direct contact with open wounds, sutured incisions, and compromised skin, helping create a moist environment that supports faster, more comfortable healing.
Unlike traditional scar gels that must wait until the wound has fully closed, Stratamed can be applied immediately after a procedure, including before sutures are removed. Its flexible film adapts to uneven, mobile, hairy, and difficult-to-cover areas while allowing the skin to breathe and remain hydrated. The transparent finish also makes it easier to observe the healing area without removing a physical dressing.
Stratamed helps protect damaged skin from chemical and microbial exposure while providing relief from itching, burning, redness, discoloration, and general discomfort. By supporting the healing process from the earliest stages, it can also help reduce the risk of raised, excessive, or otherwise abnormal scar formation. In clinical research involving burns, Stratamed supported wound healing up to twice as fast as standard treatment.
The odorless, non-reactive formula contains no alcohol, parabens, steroids, or fragrances. It can be used alone or beneath a secondary dressing and is suitable for sensitive skin.

How To Use
Clean the affected skin or wound and gently pat away as much excess fluid as possible. Apply a very thin layer of Stratamed directly to the affected area. Do not rub or massage the product into the skin.
When used without a secondary dressing, allow the gel to dry for approximately 5 to 6 minutes. If it takes longer, too much may have been applied; gently remove the excess with clean gauze or tissue and allow the remaining product to dry. Apply once daily, twice daily on exposed areas, or as directed by your healthcare provider.
When using Stratamed beneath a secondary dressing, apply a thin layer and cover the area without waiting for the gel to dry. Reapply whenever the dressing is changed or the wound is examined. Washing may remove the film, so reapply afterward as needed to maintain continuous contact with the skin.
Continue use until the skin has fully recovered. Following resurfacing or ablative procedures, use for at least 30 days or as directed by your provider. Once dry, Stratamed may be covered with sunscreen, cosmetics, pressure garments, or casts.
